About Me
Hi Friends!
I love Nature! I love its beauty, its constancy, its adaptiveness, its intricacies, and its surprises. I think Nature can teach us about ourselves and make us better people.
I believe in Science. I am educated as a scientist–as an undergrad in Animal Science with lots of Chemistry and Zoology thrown in and as a graduate student in Biological Sciences. My favorite classes were Physiology, Embryology, Reproductive Physiology, Immunology, and Endocrinology. In other words, I think our bodies are amazingly made and worthy of awe.
I believe in a Higher Power–I call it God. And whereas some people put God and Science on separate sides with a strong line down the middle, I find no separation between the two–to me God is the Greatest Scientist.
And finally, I believe in Love. It is the force that encompasses the three things above and brings power, substance, and guidance to our lives. Love is family, learning, heartbreak, friends, mistakes, forgiveness, joy, and redemption.
From my Central Minnesotan home, let’s go outside and see what we can see.
